Yes, Zynga team still develop new business on Mafia Wars game. Now it's only applied to new players but soon will available for all players!Here is a screenshot of a post on Zynga's official forums by Parizad "Community Manager". I wanted to screenshot it just so that we'll always have it as evidence in case Zynga change's their mind. (Yonks stated)

I don't know if Zynga will switch our currently properties with this new stuff, it will really ruining our program to gain the trillion achievement or more. Hope they can simply add this as a new element or just new tab "Business" in New York or something better.

Mine is already ruined i have pay more attention in buying property now. so that i can get zynga's good offer. :)
new business system sounds interesting. Everybody will be forced to come to collect take now and then.

i always get BUSTED in racketeering !
it totally sucks, coz i cant have an automatic huge income coz i cant own property, the payments from rackateering are totally lame & low.. whilst all of the old players still have a huge income..
Now there are new rackets.. cash, defense, attack and jobs... any idea which is best?

cash is pretty alright and no longer have tax on the item u bought
defense ,attack and jobs all are boost
like boxer and so on
but so far i like job which have free ride which is -3 job cost reduction every 4 hours (2 ticket )
